1 in 2 Guyanese women will experience intimate partner violence in their lifetime.
1 in 5 Teenagers globally have experienced sextortion.
400+ Victims of human trafficking were identified in Guyana in a single year.
Prevention Changes Outcomes
A girl who understands her worth earlier makes different decisions later.
Her First Lesson exists to help girls:
- recognize manipulation,
- strengthen boundaries,
- build confidence,
- increase emotional awareness,
- and develop healthier standards for themselves and their future.
Because the safest lesson is the one learned before harm occurs.
